X-ray generator control unit X-GCU

X-GCU is a data acquisition and control board of Detection Technology’s next generation digital X-ray detector platform. X-GCU together with the digital X-Cards provide complete and easily scalable detector subsystems shortening time-to-market and delivering total cost savings for all types of X-ray imaging systems. Compact sized and easy-to-use X-GCU provides connection up to eighty pieces of 64-channel dual-energy digital X-Cards, and high throughput data transfer speed of 600 Mbps with reliable Gigabit Ethernet interface. X-GCU comes with on-board signal processing functions including offset and gain calibrations, adaptive constant integration time, pixel binning, line summing and averaging, and pixel discontinuity correction. Diagnostics functions like data test patterns, remote readable temperature sensor, humidity sensor and voltage monitoring and status indicator LEDs ease maintenance and secure longevity of the subsystem. Furthermore, demonstration software, control library and sample source code are available for rapid evaluation and software development.
