Automated guided vehicles (also known as AGVs) from DIMOS are designed for maximum availability. This is because driverless transport vehicles enable users to achieve both maximum availability and increased process efficiency in intralogistics. Positioning accuracy also plays an important role in automated guided vehicles. This is the only way to guarantee excellent performance, even at high tonnages.
Our DMS electric multidirectional sideloader is available in both semi-automated and fully automated versions as an AGV. The necessary requirements for full automation as a driverless transport vehicle are already included in the standard equipment - meaning that even models that have already been delivered can be retrofitted for automated use.
Our fully automated coil handlers provide users with driverless transport vehicles that can independently transport metal coils of up to 8 tons in the warehouse. Thanks to the driverless battery changing system, battery changes are also completely autonomous. The choice between the individual machines depends on the charge status and workload. In this way, we guarantee our customers ideal processes and short downtimes as well as a reduction in costs compared to manual operation without AGVs.
We have developed a driverless transport system for our customers in the form of an automated battery changing system for the fully automated changing of lead-acid batteries in our electric vehicles. The vehicles drive themselves to the changing station, where empty
batteries are replaced with full ones. In this way, users minimize downtimes while simultaneously optimizing energy consumption.
