Yeast dryer ( also called scraper drum dryer ) uses indirect heat (steam) to vaporize the water and drying the material. It is especially suitable for the recycling of brewery yeast.
The yeast dryer is also suitable for drying liquid raw material or viscous materials in chemical, dye, medicine, food, metallurgy and other industries.
The core technology is temperature control; the temperature of the yeast can not be higher than 80 ℃, which ensures the biological activity of dried yeast. Many drying parameters of our yeast dryer can be adjusted, such as the concentration of the feed material, the thickness of the coating material film, the temperature of the heating medium, and rotation speed of the drum, etc. The thermal efficiency can reach more than 80%.
System
Firstly, the yeast slurry to be dried will be put into the preheating tank, preheating to about 50℃; then put into the lower part of the dryer tank by feed pump; then the drying cylinder is immersed in about 60-80mm, and the outer surface of the rotating drying cylinder is coated with a uniform layer of slurry; because the steam pressure with 0.15-0.3Mpa is send into the drying cylinder; the yeast slurry has been dried, then scraped off and landed at the outlet for collection.
The drying degree of the material is controlled by adjusting the pressure of the steam and the speed of the dryer.
