Beet pulp is a byproduct from the processing of sugar beet. The high moisture of beet pulp makes it especially difficult to storage, transport, and handing further. Drying the beet pulp down to roughly moisture of 12% significantly reduces transportation cost and makes it possible for beet pulp to processed further, such as: granulation. And the dried beet pulp is excellent material that can be used as animal feed.
Normally, the initial moisture of beet pulp is higher than 80%-85%, which needs the dehydrator to reduce the moisture to 65%, then goes into the rotary dryer to reduce the burden on the dryer and save the drying cost. Our beet pulp rotary dryer system, specially designed for beet pulp can dry the wet beet pulp into dried beet pulp with the moisture of 10-12%. A special lifting and crushing device is used inner the dryer to avoid the materials from sticking to the wall. We can also offer the full Drying and Pellet plant in order to make a one-stop solution for our customers.
System
Beet pulp dryer system mainly consists of dewatering machine, heat source, feeding machines, feeder, rotary drum dryer, discharging machine, draft fan, discharge and power distribution cabinet.
Advantage
a. Compared with the single rotary drum dryer, the length of the machine is shortened by 50%, reducing the building area and cost saving about 40%
b. The drying system is with high degree of automation, and has a large processing capacity; allowing continuous running
c. The beet pulp dryer system adopts a special dispersing device and sealing device, and is equipped with an effective heat preservation system, which effectively g. reduces heat loss and saves drying costs;
