The Dytran model 3243A is designed with a low-profile and a highly-resistant IEPE accelerometer that can measure an over-all height of 0.30 inches (7.6 millimeters) and a weight of just 2.5 grams. The device features a variety of specifications including a 10 mV/g level of sensitivity and adhesive mounting. It also integrates a 2-meter built-in cable with a splash-proof boot located at the point of sensor and cable connection. The profoundly-sealed cable-to-accelerometer boot seal makes the sensor temporarily submerged during testing. There are also available isolated units in order to not have EMI/ground loop deterrents.
