Product overview
Adapter sleeves to enable expanding shafts or fixed bars to accept different inner coil/core diameters. Designed for quick changeovers and secure clamping when converting mandrels and coils. Mounting is possible on a smaller expanding (pneumatic) shaft or on a fixed steel bar. Anchoring is achieved either by expansion of the inner shaft or by a mechanical clamp.

Assembly and anchoring methods

• By inner shaft expansion: adapter is mounted on a pneumatic expanding base shaft; expansion of the base shaft provides the clamping force.
• By clamp: adapter is equipped with a clamp that closes around and secures the base shaft (base can be a fixed steel bar).

Manufacturing and materials
Special dimensions and custom versions available on request. Some adapter variants are produced in aluminum (depending on model) to provide accurate and rapid clamping in industrial lines.
