OverviewThis pneumatic expanding shaft is equipped with manual axial displacement systems for precise web alignment. It is suitable for both double-supported and cantilever (single-supported) shaft arrangements and is intended for industrial rewind/unwind applications where axial positioning of the web is required.
Main features- Manual axial adjustment for accurate web tracking
- Applicable to double-supported and cantilever expanding shafts
- Standard sizes and custom manufacture from Ø25 mm to Ø300 mm
Axial Adjustment Systems for Expanding Shafts- Axial Non-Stop: Mechanism allows the knob to be released for manual axial displacement while the machine remains running — suitable for high-production lines.
- Simple Axial: Allows axial displacement but the knob remains linked to shaft rotation; machine stop may be required for safe adjustment.
Standard diameters and expansion ranges- For core Ø70 mm (ID 70 mm) — Expansion range: Ø69–71 mm
- For core Ø76 mm (ID 3') — Expansion range: Ø74–76 mm
- For core Ø152 mm (ID 6') — Expansion range: Ø148–157 mm
- Custom dimensions available: special manufacture from Ø25 mm to Ø300 mm
