OverviewDesigned to perform cross cuts on flexible web to produce sheets. Suitable for a wide range of flexible materials and effective at both low and high operating speeds.
OperationConsists of an anvil with a flat blade and a parallel roller carrying a second flat blade. Roller rotation creates controlled interference between the two blades to cut the web. Blades feature four cutting edges, are resharpenable, removable and individually adjustable to set cutting angle or 90° cuts. Blade replacement and adjustment are straightforward; standard spare blades are available in several formats.
Configurations- Variable format: Servo-motorized drive to adjust sheet length as required.
- Fixed format: Transmission-mounted to the machine pull motor for constant-format cutting regardless of operating speed.
Maintenance & BladesBlades with four cutting edges, resharpenable. Quick replacement and independent blade adjustment reduce downtime. Standard spare blades in multiple formats are available for rapid service.
