Overview
Module designed to perform one or more longitudinal cuts on flexible web materials. Two main material groups are considered: synthetic materials and paper. Correct selection of the cutting system ensures clean cuts and optimal blade life.

Operation
Installed on the host machine, modules can be engaged or disengaged easily as production requires. All systems are mobile: width adjustment allows format changes and axial adjustment permits centering of cuts across the group. Wear parts are standardized to guarantee permanent stock availability and fast spare part replacement.

For Synthetic Materials

• Razor-blade cutter: Razor-type blades available in thicknesses from 0.2 to 0.8 mm depending on the plastic; provides exceptionally clean cuts.
• Circular blade against anvil: Dull-edged circular blade pressing against a hardened circular anvil; cutting is achieved by mechanical or pneumatic pressure.

For Paper

• Motorized circular scissor blade: Performs cutting by axial pressure against a circular anvil. The scissor effect combined with motorization delivers high performance and durability on abrasive materials such as paper. Can be driven via transmission from an existing motor or fitted with an independent motor.
