The EKS e-Light2 4TX/3FX-Switch is basically a fault-tolerant network components. It helps in avoiding network outages leading to production standstills. The outer housing is power coated stainless steel with ruggedness to electrical and magnetic interferences. The unit supports four types of fibre types including POF 990/1000 µm, HCS 200/230 µm, multimode 50/125 µm & 62,5/125 µm and singlemode 9/125 µm. The wavelength varies between 650 nm to 1500 nm with a fibre optic range of up to 100 km. The fibre optic supports SMA, ST, SC, LC, SC-Bidi and E2000 connection types. Machine status on power, data and error for each port is displayed through LEDs. LEDs and potential free contacts of a differential relay signalize defective state. The unit operates at an voltage range of 19 to 60 VDC. This EL-100U2 series contains unmanaged 7/8 port switches for 10/100MBit/s optionally with up to eight RJ45-Ethernet-ports and up to three optical ports. Additional features are auto negotiation, MDX/MDIX and redundant power supply.
