Description

Conveyor Belt Safety Switch (Pull Cord) Features • Easy mounting using the three holes on the bottom half of the housing. The holes are designed for 3/8” bolts. • 200 Ft. of protection per unit. • Adjustable Actuation Force. • Optional Indicator lamp available • Operating temperature range: 0 to 40 °C [32 to 104 °F] • Cable Break Detection The RSB-1 has (1) dry contact relay and the RSB-2 has (2) dry contact relays. These conveyor belt safety switches protect conveyor belts and personnel from dangerous events that can occur along conveyor belts. They provide personnel an easy way to shutdown conveyors or other equipment that may cause danger. Multiple units can be used on each conveyor to provide protection along the entire conveyor. The force required to trip a shut-down is adjustable from 20, 28, and 40 Lbs of force. The RSB is furnished with a heavy-duty cast aluminum housing. There are explosion proof and corrosion resistant options available for the RSB.
