EL360A is a complete DRO system including magnetic tape and reader heads for angular measurements on large rotary tables. Typically these rotary tables are part of horizontal boring machines and other such machines. Electronica has utilized its design and application experience in designing this unique solution. Angular rotation of table during machining needs precise measurement. This particular need is not completely fulfilled by optical rotary encoder coupled to the table center. This is where EL360A system proves useful. Table diameters starting from 300mm are supported and max diameter can be as large as 10meters. EL360A system comprises of Digital readout, magnetic tape cut to specific table diameter, two magnetic reader heads.
