DefinitionThe indexing plunger, also called centering pin, is a positioning element used to lock, secure or locate a device. It can be used to stop translational or rotational movement.
Material- Body in zinc-plated blue passivated steel or stainless steel (AFNOR Z 8 CNF 18-09, Werk 1.4305, AISI 303).

- Spring in stainless steel (AISI 302).
- Lever in black polyphthalamide reinforced with glass fiber.

- Pin length (l1): 5 to 10 mm.
Usage- The pin is retracted by pressing and holding the lever down.
- A spring returns the lever to its initial position when released and pushes the pin back to the extended position.
- The version with locking device holds the pin in the retracted position when the lever is raised to vertical.
