Product DescriptionPolyMide™ is a filament from the Nylon/polyamide family. Produced with Polymaker's Warp-Free™ technology, PolyMide™ filament offers the intrinsic technical properties of nylon along with great printability.
PolyMide™ CoPA is a filament based on Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6. This filament combines excellent strength and toughness with heat resistance up to 180°C.
Main Properties TableRecommended Settings | Mechanical Properties | Thermal Properties | Notes
Nozzle Temperature: 250˚C – 270˚C | Young's Modulus: 2223 ± 199 Mpa | Glass Transition Temp.: 67˚C | Drying Parameters: 100˚C for 8h
Printing Speed: 30mm/s - 60mm/s | Tensile Strength: 66.2 ± 0.9 Mpa | Vicat Softening Temp.: 180°C | Recommended Support Material: BVOH
Bed Temperature: 25˚C – 50˚C | Flexural Strength: 97.0 ± 1.1 Mpa | Melting Temp.: 190°C | Other: It is highly recommended to dry the filament before printing PolyMide™ CoPA and store it in the resealable bag. To ensure good heat resistance of your printed parts, we recommend annealing your printed parts with this material. Annealing parameters: 80˚C for 6h
Build Surface: Glass bed with 3DLac | Charpy Impact Strength: 9.6 ± 1.4 kJ/m2 | | For intensive use, PolyMide CoPA can be abrasive to brass nozzles. When printing with PolyMide CoPA, we recommend changing the nozzle to a hardened steel one.
Cooling Fan: OFF | | |
Warp-Free™ TechnologyThe Warp-Free™ technology enables the production of Nylon filaments that can be 3D printed with excellent dimensional stability and virtually no warping. By precisely controlling the microstructures and crystallization behavior of Nylon, it allows the material to release internal stress before solidification.
