Description

Overview
ENDEVION COOLpack fill media are manufactured primarily from polypropylene (preferred over traditional PVC and produced without glues or chemicals to avoid material crystallization over time). They are engineered to increase the contact surface between warm water descending and cooler air rising through the tower, enhancing evaporation and cooling efficiency.

Description
The ENDEVION range for evaporative cooling towers includes COOLpack fill packs available in three main configurations: counter-flow (film-type cross-fluted), vertical-flow (vertical-fluted) and cross-flow fill.

Available versions
  • Counter-flow fill (film-type, cross-fluted)
  • Vertical-flow fill (vertical-fluted)
  • Cross-flow fill (with integrated louvre and drift eliminator sections)

Advantages
  • High cooling capacity of ENDEVION cross-fluted film-type fills
  • Vertical-fluted fills optimized for heavily polluted water to minimize deposits
  • Cross-flow packs designed for quick and easy installation
  • High resistance to chemical process conditions
  • High temperature resistance

Fill media for counter-flow cooling towers
The cooling performance of ENDEVION film-type fills is achieved through their cross-fluted structure, which promotes intensive mixing of cooling water and air and maximizes specific surface area. Vertical-fluted types reduce surface deposits and minimize channel clogging in applications with poor water quality.

Splash and trickle fill media
For very poor water quality ENDEVION recommends splash-type fills or grid (trickle) media designed for easy disassembly and cleaning. These solutions feature high stability, economical installation and mechanically joined grids that are simple to clean. They are suitable for medium to heavily polluted cooling waters and combine reliable performance with reduced pressure drop. Available in various sizes and material grades including high-temperature and flame-retardant polypropylene.

Characteristics / technical specifications
