OverviewThe USD70 differential pressure sensors provide precise measurements in small measuring ranges with high overload resistance. The silicon piezoresistive sensors with welded metal diaphragm are designed for process and environmental industries and are used for level, volume or mass measurement in liquids and gases, differential pressure monitoring (e.g. filters, pumps) and flow measurement (volume or mass flow).
Benefits- Standardized measuring ranges: 0…10 mbar and 0…30 mbar available.
- Bridge output signal: Uncompensated bridge output signal (mV/V).
- High overload resistance: Up to 160 bar on one side and 240 bar on both sides.
- Stainless steel construction: Standard material 316 L for process compatibility.
- Reliable measurements: High accuracy, reproducibility and long-term stability.
- Customizable: Alternative diaphragm materials and filling oils selectable on request.
Technical structure and notesSilicon piezoresistive differential pressure sensor with welded metal diaphragm. Sensors are supplied uncompensated (uncompensated bridge output) and can be compensated and calibrated by the customer or during transmitter integration. The sensor is intended as a basis for differential pressure transmitter construction.
Standardized measuring ranges- 0…10 mbar / 1 kPa — overload range: 160 bar (one side), 240 bar (both sides)
- 0…30 mbar / 3 kPa — overload range: 160 bar (one side), 240 bar (both sides)
Output signal and energy supply- Recommended supply: constant current feed, <1 mA
- Bridge resistance: 4.3…5.6 kΩ (25°C)
- Output signal (span): 10 mbar: 9…19 mV; 30 mbar: 18…34 mV
Design size and operating conditions- Design size: Ø 55 mm x 40 mm
- Ambient/process temperature: -40 to +85°C
- Storage temperature: -40 to +85°C
Additional informationHigh overload resistance variants are indicated on product pages and datasheets. Optional selections: different membrane materials and filling oils can be ordered on request.
