Extensometer for rock, concrete, and asphalt 3442RA1

The Model 3442RA1 is a miniature averaging axial extensometer designed for specimens with a small diameter. It features a 350 ohm strain-gauged design to ensure compatibility with almost any test system. With an enhanced accuracy and an averaging output, the device measures the axial strain on opposite sides of the test specimen. This results in an output with an average of the two readings. Built with a rugged, dual flexure design for strength and improved performance, the model easily mounts and attaches with integral springs. It also comes with a foam-lined case. All the standard units of the model meet existing ASTM class B-1 and ISO 9513, class 0,5 requirements for accuracy. The 3442RA1 is available in a variety of configurations for samples 2 inches or smaller in diameter.
