Technical description
The TABER® LINEAR ABRASER 364 T is an abrasion tester designed to measure abrasion and scratch resistance on flat, concave or convex surfaces. Its floating head follows sample contours, allowing tests on finished parts with minimal restrictions on sample size or shape. The instrument is suitable for plastics, automotive and other painted parts, printed graphics, optical products, rubber, leather, textiles and laboratory use.

Maintain consistent testing standards
The Linear Abraser uses a Wearaser™ — a compact abrasive element the size and shape of a pencil eraser that employs Taber abrasive media. This ensures repeatable, comparable results. Jumbo Wearasers™ and Weardisc options are available for wider test tracks; a universal test head supports custom abrasive media.

Versatile testing
Adjustable stroke length, speed and load, together with a wide selection of Wearasers™, allow configuration to specific test protocols. Optional specimen table improves handling of small or irregular samples. Additional attachments enable scratch, coin-scrape, Crockmeter, rub and other custom tests.
