Description
The display instrument for force measurement, Model 975 AP, works with ERICHSEN force transducers based on wire strain gauges to measure and display forces quickly and simply. It is intended for industrial and laboratory applications where rapid force readout and easy operation are required.

Technical description
The measuring and display electronics are designed for mains operation and housed in a sturdy aluminium box. The front panel features a 4 1/2 digit LED display (0 - +/- 19999, 14 mm high) and an illuminated mains switch for good visibility. A 7-pin socket on the rear permits quick disconnection of the force transducer. Rear-mounted fuses are easily accessible for fast replacement. A peak-value memory is included as standard; minimum and maximum values can be recalled via keys.

Options
Two infinitely adjustable limit-value outputs are available for protecting the transducer and specimens or for monitoring tasks. The instrument can be equipped with an exit hub providing an analogue output (voltage or current) proportional to the measured value. A unidirectional RS232 or RS422 serial interface can be connected to transmit readings to a printer or PC.
