To achieve the highest possible quality of the final product, SCHULE colour sorting machines are used. They can be equipped with different cameras depending on the application. Colour differences, different surface discolouration and concealed damage, e.g. below a husk, can be detected.
Via the vibration channels at the machine inlet, the product is distributed uniformly on a sliding plate. On this sliding plate, the product slips past the cameras. The entire surface is checked by the optical system. An optional feature, depending on the application, the colour sorting machine can be equipped with further special cameras such as NIR and INGAAS cameras.
This ensures that all products which do not meet the quality criteria are identified by the system and selected by means of compressed air nozzles. The selected product leaves the machine via separate outlets.
A variety of different programmes can be stored in the machine. At the same time it is possible to adjust the degree of separation during the current process. This ensures that a variety of different products can be selected with the utmost precision, even if they are slightly inhomogeneous themselves.
The colour sorting machine is equipped with 1 to 7 sliding chutes and thus covers a wide capacity range. Additional sorting and re-sorting configurations can also be set.
Newly developed large colour touch screens represent the interface to the company networks ensuring easy and user-friendly operation of the system. The colour sorting machine can also be operated via remote control.
