Product overview
XTR B is an RFID proximity reader for access control and automation. With a depth of 21 mm it provides flexible tag management and can be integrated into BUS or non-BUS systems.

Operation and tag management
The reader supports unlimited tag storage: tags can be saved individually or in groups. Master and slave tag versions allow duplicate management. XTR B operates in single-channel or two-channel mode and accepts impulse or latching commands. Several functions are triggered by the way a TAG is presented to the reader.

Compatibility and installation
XTR B connects to the FAAC BUS input on compatible 2easy control boards for secure, tamper-resistant wiring. For non-BUS control boards, installation is possible with the XBR2 BUS-relay adaptor that converts the BUS signal to a switch output, creating a standalone reader with improved security. The reader also supports FDS BD remotes with built-in RFID tag: a single four-button remote can communicate with up to four FDS receivers and its embedded tag works on up to two XTR B readers.
