Description
In the packaging industry, handling needs fast times, safety and the possibility to rotate the machine from a horizontal to a vertical position to load and unload the pallet winder.
The gripping can be carried out by a mandrel on the internal diameter of the beam (usually 70 – 76 – 152), or on the external diameter by self-centring winding jaws to avoid damage to the product.
If the reel is not tight, a pneumatic gripping system is used to avoid the winded material from sliding away when it is handled while the axis of the reel is in a vertical position.
