Description
The KSW-880EU is an all-electric shearer of modular design suitable for bidirectional cutting and loading of coal in longwall operations. The shearer is mounted on an armoured face conveyor with Eicotrack type chainless haulage system.
The shearer is designed for longwall operations in seams of longitudinal inclination up to 35° and of transverse inclination up to 20°. Thanks to changing geometry gear of the haulage drive, the shearer’s clearance between the machine and the AFC can be adjusted within the range of 300mm.
