The bm®/9P series is manufactured by Deva, and is a thin-walled self-lubricating plain bearing, which has a sliding layer that is utilized to the stainless steel back in a combined rolling/sintering process. There is a lubricant that is microscopically distributed with PTFE which leads to significantly reduced friction and wear figures. The unit is the optimum material for p>25 N/mm², which can be applied in a wide range of requisitions including water turbines, injection molding machines, packing machinery, etc. It is composed of low-friction surface film, bearing layer, solid lubricant and stainless steel backing.
