Overview
Federal Signal offers the FSIoT family to add managed cellular communications to siren systems. Devices connect to a private, managed FSIoT cellular network and remove the need for separate SIMs, data plans or network provisioning. Units are pre-configured and arrive ready to operate.

Product details
The FSMODEM-CELLBASE is an FSIoT gateway modem for Base Station/SS2000+. It provides cellular connectivity to a base station via USB or serial connection and can use a cellular antenna or be connected to an existing Ethernet network when antenna runs are impractical. FSIoT is a managed private network without direct Internet access. The tri-carrier modem automatically selects the best signal among major US carriers. FSMODEM-CELLBASE can be used with the SS2000+ Series C local activation point as an alternative to a conventional LMR radio.

The FCT and FC kits offer retrofit options for Federal Signal FCT and FC siren controllers to replace legacy LMR solutions or add secure cellular as a redundant channel.
