OverviewHeated veneer presses for a range of production scales. The Format4 HVP series offers modular heating plate options and industrial-grade components for continuous operation in panel and veneer production.
Variants / Models- HVP Typ 1: Elkom® electric heating platens. Pressing temperature up to 120 °C (248 °F).
- HVP Typ 2: Warm water heating. Pressing temperature up to 90 °C (194 °F).
- HVP Typ 3: Thermo oil heating. Pressing temperature up to 120 °C (248 °F); higher temperatures on request.
Key features & options- Elkom® electric heating platens: loading support with 12 mm aluminium sheet housing the electric resistance.
- Warm water heating plates: aluminium surface for smooth finish and heat transfer, steel sheet, steel coils for warm water circulation, support tubes and thermal insulation (wood fibre plate).
- Thermo oil heating (fabricated steel plates): aluminium surface layer, steel sheet, steel coils, support tubes and thermal insulation; fabricated steel platen rated for max 5 kg/cm².
- Synchronized rack and pinion guide: large rail guides and torsionally rigid joints ensure parallel lift of pressing plates.
- Optional sensor monitoring: magnetic sensors monitor parallel lift to prevent uneven pressure along the platen length.
- Raised cylinder guide: hydraulic cylinder casing raised so cylinder remains coated in oil, reducing seal drying and extending service life.
- Multiple specification packages and customer-specific production solutions available.
- Industrial design with components selected for continuous high-performance operation.
Benefits- Stable performance in industrial continuous operation.
- Production processes adaptable to customer requirements.
- Engineering precision and component selection for reliable results.
- High operator comfort and predictable productivity.
