Description

The G90 series is produced using a special pretested blend of cotton and polyester fibres. The G90 media has extra pleats (more sq. ft. of space) for increased dust holding capacity. Media Support The media is bonded to a special galvanized steel expanded metal support grid with a 95% open face area. This allows increased utilization of the filter media. The media and metal combination is designed to prevent sagging or collapse and is bonded tightly to the frame, eliminating any possibility of air bypass. Enclosure Frame The G90 enclosure frame is a special die cut solid craft-board with extra moisture resistance, designed to prevent collapse under extremely humid conditions. Testing Each HEPA filter is tested and packed in accordance with American Standard IEST-RP-CC001.3 (HEPA and ULPA Filters), in accordance with the European standard EN 1822-1 4&5 (Testing filter elements HEPA and ULPA efficiency and scan method), or customer requested testing. The prefilters are tested in accordance with European Standard EN 779 (Particulate air filters for general ventilation). This standard is based on ASHRAE 52.1 (Gravimetric and Dust-Spot Procedures for Testing Air Cleaning Devices Used in General Ventilation for Removing Particulate Matter, 1992).
