Description

Our profile rails and precision ball guides of the FNS and GNS series are specially designed for all types of linear movements and are therefore suitable for use in most types of machines. The rails are made of forged aluminium with two pressed hardened stainless steel axles as raceways for the stainless steel balls of the slides. The advantages of the GNS and FNS linear guides are: - The guides and guide rails are characterised by their low weight and corrosion resistance. - Particularly light, compact design, weight savings of 60% compared to the steel version. - Same installation dimensions as steel ball guides (also possible according to DIN 645 part 1). - The design allows for significantly greater parallelism and height deviations, installation is partly also possible on unmachined mounting surfaces. - Higher corrosion resistance compared to standard steel guides. - The first lubrication in the factory guarantees long-term lubrication. - Regardless of the accuracy class and preload, the guides and rails can always be exchanged without problems. - The guide rails and carriages have 2 reference faces to simplify assembly. Speed: Vmax = 2 m/s Acceleration: A max = 30 m/s² Temperature: Tmax = 60° C With these limits, a wide range of applications opens up, particularly in light mechanical engineering, handling technology, assembly technology, plant construction, lifting technology, manual movement systems, machine cladding, door and window technology, woodworking machines, DIY and more.
