Overview
Essa® dry bulk linear falling-stream samplers from FLS provide accurate, representative sampling of falling material streams in mining and mineral processing. These full cross-stream samplers capture a representative fraction at the conveyor discharge or in gravity-fed pipe systems to support quality control, metallurgical accounting and process control.

Features

• Full cross-stream cutter located at the discharge point to ensure representative capture of the falling stream.
• Belt-drive linear sampler (BDLS): drive assembly mounted above the stream; precision cutter on a guided carriage for consistent sampling.
• Synchronous belt-drive sampler: single motor driving two synchronised toothed belts positioned either side of the ore stream — suitable where the sampler sits below discharge.
• Moving Pipe Sampler (MPS): self-contained unit for free-flowing granular solids in gravity, non-pressurised pipe systems; electric braked gearmotor provides consistent pipe velocity; pipe park outside cutter aperture; inspection door and top hatches enable cutter access.
• Robust finishes: resilient three-coat paint system for extended protection in abrasive environments.
• Inspection and safety: hinged inspection doors and hinged safety access screens for safe maintenance and visual checks during operation.
