Z.Plast 107 N is a solvent based adhesive with an excellent adhesion onto uPVC and other plastics like CPVC, ABS, PMMA. A very fast setting adhesive, it has high resistance to water, oils, grease, acids, alkali and keeps almost unchanged its adhesion strength in a wide temperature range from -15°C to +90°C. Typical uses The adhesive is suitable for uPVC, ABS and methacrylate. It is also specic for cementing PVC pipes for fuids under pressure in domestic or industrial water piping systems and in underground irrigation systems. It’s suitable also for hydromassage baths piping systems. Properties Composition : vinyl resins in a blend of organic solvents Consistency : high viscosity liquid Mode of setting : solvent release Solvents : ketons and THF Colour : transparent Chemical resistance : water, oily matters and grease resistant Confezioni : 125 gr. tube - 0,5 Kg. and 1 Kg. tin Other packaging options available on request Technical data Solid content : 26 - 32 % * Viscosity : 8.000 - 16.000 mPa.s (Brookfield spindle 5 speed 5 at 25°C)* Service temperture range : +70°C, up to +95°C Method of use The surfaces must be clean, dry and free from oily matters, if necessary wipe them with ST/513 solvent. Tube and conduct ends must not present rags, mouthpiece hedge of internal tube must be bevelled. The adhesive must be applied onto both parts for the whole depth of the connection and tube insertion must be done, soon after the spreading, with no rotation. Any tooling should be carried out immediately. The bonded pieces can be moved after 10’. Pressure test can be made after 24 hours.
