novamica® 100 REEL is a film made from optimized phlogopite mica for high-temperature applications. Like all other members of the novamica® family, novamica® 100 REEL is resistant to long-term temperatures and has outstanding sealing properties in this high temperature range even for long-term applications. In addition, novamica® 100 REEL has electrical insulation properties with excellent chemical resistance to aggressive/corrosive media. novamica® 100 REEL is supplied on rolls and is 0.5 mm thick. It can be cut into tapes of various widths and wound on a reel. This makes it ideal for processing as a soft material for grooved gaskets or insert material for spiral wound gaskets.
