DescriptionThe TDB series sensors measure alternating and direct currents with a DC-10 kHz bandwidth and a resolution of up to 1 mA. They include an integrated demagnetization function with DC offset reset that is activated by a relay command; this cancels measurement error caused by DC magnetic fields (earth magnetic field, permanent magnets, DC coils), temperature drift, mechanical shocks or vibrations. RMS (AC+DC) measurement error is proportional to line current and depends on the arrangement of conductors passing through the sensor and the position and distance of adjacent external conductors. Settings of IΔn < 100 mA are possible only with conductor centering and controlled environmental conditions (temperature, vibrations, EMI).
