Product overviewTDB series toroidal sensors measure AC and DC currents with a bandwidth from DC to 10 kHz and a resolution of 1 mA. An integrated degauss function with DC offset zeroing, activated by relay command, eliminates DC measurement errors caused by the Earth's magnetic field, permanent magnets, DC coils, temperature drift, mechanical shocks or vibrations.
Measurement detailsThe RMS current measurement (AC+DC) error is proportional to the line current and depends on the geometrical layout of conductors inside the sensor aperture and on the distance and layout of nearby conductors outside the aperture. IΔn settings below 100 mA are achievable only by centering the conductors and operating in controlled environmental conditions (temperature, vibration, EMI).
