With the DIMMbox, FRIWO offers a technically sophisticated solution for dimming LED lighting. Different versions of the DIMMbox enable dimming per DALI, Push-Dim or 1 - 10 V. The dimming function is achieved by pulse width modulation control (PWM) with a switching frequency of 600 Hz. There are no flicker effects due to the chosen frequency. The DIMMbox works with a voltage range from 15 to 50 VDC and a current of 5 A at input and output. The device can be operated in constant voltage- or constant current mode in connection with FRIWO LED drivers. Furthermore, the DIMMbox is connectable to all third party drivers in constant voltage mode. With a length of 153 mm and a minimum cross section of 21 x 30 mm, the DIMMbox can be used for smallest profiles. The DIMMbox is approved for Europe and complies with the low voltage directives EN61347-1, EN61347-2-11 and EN60065 as well as with the EMC directives EN55015, EN55022 and EN61547.
