The product enables customers to save on space and it is easily integrated into switch cabinets. The new steel-grid resistors are designed for high energy applications in wind energy or drive technology to dissipate peak currents. Murr. FRIZLEN launches its popular steel-grid resistors in a new compact form of construction, which requires less space at the same high short time energy absorption. Made of 3 mm instead of 1 mm steel sheets the resistors allow a 2.5 times higher energy absorption. Thanks to a new geometry of the resistor elements we build compact blocks of several elements that will only take about 25% of the previous space at the same energy absorption capacity.
