The Frontier DL650 brings photo print production to a higher throughput level with support for new premium papers and expanded processing capacity.

Professional image quality
The DL650 delivers high-quality images using Fujifilm’s color profiles and a six-color ink system to satisfy diverse customer requirements.

Fujifilm’s unique color profiles

• Vivid color reproduction mode: increases overall color saturation for vivid tones.
• Natural color reproduction mode: reproduces images similar to Frontier silver-halide printers.

Six colored inks
The system uses six inks (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, Sky Blue and Pink) to improve grain fineness and smooth reproduction of skin tones and gradients.

New premium paper
Two types of new premium paper are supported for higher-quality output:

• Glossy type: approximately 274 μm thick.
• Luster type: approximately 282 μm thick.

High-resolution mode achieving enhanced image quality
Two print resolutions are available: 720 dpi (normal) and 1,440 dpi (high-resolution) to produce higher-quality prints even from the same source images.

Image Intelligence™ — Fujifilm’s image processing
Proprietary Image Intelligence™ automatically compensates for poor lighting, strong backlight, high contrast, underexposure and overexposure to reproduce images closer to human visual perception.

High processing capacity
In normal image quality mode the DL650 can process approximately 950 sheets per hour (4" x 6" size), enabling a single unit to handle large order volumes.

Exceptional space-saving design
The printer can be positioned with its rear and right side against a wall to save floor space. All operational elements, including the control panel, are located at the front and left side for accessible operation.

Built-in paper magazines to save cost & space
No additional external paper magazines are required, reducing both acquisition cost and the footprint for spare paper storage.

Easy handling of consumables
Ink cartridges and back print ribbons are replaced through front access covers; the waste paper box is removable and simple to reinstall after disposal.

Versatile features meeting various customer needs
The DL650 supports a wide range of paper sizes up to 12" x 48" (305 x 1,219 mm). The side sorter accommodates up to 10 orders of prints up to 8" x 12" (203 x 305 mm), allowing photo labs to process diversified orders efficiently.
