The principle is the same as that of eccentric eddy current, and the purpose is different. Concentric rotors consist of an alternating pole Rare Earth magnet system, which completely fills the space available within the separation rotor drum. The magnet system rotates at high speed within a few millimeters of the outer shell surface generating very high ‘eddy currents’ on the surface resulting in very high repulsive forces.
Features of our ECS:
Concentric Eddy Current separators For this type, the magnetic rotor is mounted in the middle of the revolving drum. This results in a large separation angle which is desirable for some product types.
This type of separator can easily be used in product flows that are almost or entirely free of iron and only contain non-ferrous metals.
It is more suitable for smaller size particles.
Working widths: 400/650/800/1000/1200/1500 mm
Specific requirements for non-standard applications can naturally always be discussed.
