SWEA Series motors are Wonder-designed premium efficiency aluminum motors. The efficiency indicators are in line with IE3. The series are widely applied in general machinery and industries. Wonder standard motors are designed with holes for drainage of water that may condense inside the frame. The drain hole can be in stator house or in flange/end shield, and always at lowest point. The holes are supplied with a plastic plug. These plugs leave the factory in the closed position, while must be opened periodically to lead out the condensed water. In order to cater for application in special environments, Wonder has also designed aluminum housing motors with cast iron end shields for frame size up to 180, which could obviously enhance the solidity of motor reduce the noise.
