Overview
Getac presents the X500 rugged notebook computer. Combining design and expansion elements from Getac models B300, A790 and M230, the X500 is built for configurable, high-performance operation in extreme field and military environments.

Performance
The X500 is offered with an Intel Core i7 2.66 GHz processor (Turbo Boost up to 3.33 GHz) and 4 MB Intel Smart Cache. The platform targets processor‑intensive applications and sustained field workloads.

Graphics & Display
15.6-inch QuadraClear HD display with 1000 NITs brightness. Graphics options include NVIDIA GeForce GT330M MXM with 512 MB VRAM. A multi-touch display is available as an option.

Expansion, Customization & Storage
The system supports an expansion unit that accepts either two PCI Express cards or two full-size PCI cards. Configurations can include dual storage drives and RAID operation. Optional add-ons include USB 3.0, fiber-optic interfaces, RS-485 and a high-power WiFi booster.
