OverviewUse your gt4-series data recorder with standard sensors via the 24-channel ADCA400 adapter box. The ADCA400 aluminium adapter box with plastic housing is designed to connect symmetric DMCADC4xx analog measurement cards to up to 24 single-ended voltage sensor outputs or common 2–20 mA powered sensors (e.g. ICP®, DeltaTron®, Isotron®, Piezotron®).
Functions / ApplicationsThe adapter box allows connection of up to 24 sensors via BNC connectors and lets you select the input voltage range for groups of inputs. Configuration settings and factory calibration results can be stored in non-volatile memory and used for compensation during measurement. Interference-free transmission from the MDR68 connector to the analog card is achieved using the symmetric mccabAR1xx cable.
Connections and Operation- 24 BNC connectors (8 front, 16 rear)
- One switch per each group of 4 AC inputs to select input voltage range (±10 V or 2 V to 22 V with 3 mA sensor excitation)
- MDR68 front connector for reliable repeated insertion
Mechanics and Power Supply- Aluminium box with plastic casing
- Stackable up to 4 units plus one gt4 data recorder (mechanically linked by screws)
- Low power consumption (typ. 5 W)
- Onboard voltage monitoring
- Green operation LED
CompatibilityDesigned for symmetric DMCADC4xx analog measurement cards and use with MDR68 connection cables (e.g. symmetric mccabAR1xx). Suitable for sensors with voltage or current outputs (2–20 mA) and common brands such as ICP®, DeltaTron®, Isotron® and Piezotron®.
