Description

Overview
The D-ReX is a standalone gas detector designed for the semiconductor industry and other industrial applications requiring monitoring of toxic, corrosive or combustible gases. It is available in Point of Use (PoU) diffusion, remote Point of Installation (PoI) with external sensor cable up to 1200 m, and Point of Sampling (PoS) with an integrated pump (tubing up to 30 m). An optional pyrolyzer module (Py-ReX) is available for gases that require pyrolysis.

State of the art gas monitoring
The D-ReX supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for combined power and communication and offers optional LonWorks integration. A full-color 2.4in TFT display shows measured concentrations, thresholds, faults and alarms in plain text for clear operator information.

Smart sensors and simple service
Selectable sensor technologies include electrochemical, catalytic and infrared sensors to monitor more than 30 toxic, corrosive and combustible gases plus oxygen. Sensors are supplied as preconfigured, easily replaceable cartridges. A Bluetooth-connected service app streamlines commissioning, servicing and diagnostics.

Options for increasing safety
The D-ReX can be equipped with up to five internal relays (each a freely programmable changeover contact). Relay expansion modules (e.g., 16-relay module) and different controller/relay variants are available for DIN-rail or wall mounting.
