If you need to monitor oxygen in applications with high helium concentrations, that would influence other oxygen sensors' results, the EC22 O transmitter is a reliable and economical solution. The EC22 O transmits measured values and status notifications via analogue (0.2-1 mA or 4-20 mA) or digital (RS-485) signal. In combination with GfG's reliable controllers, it can be installed in new gas detection systems or retrofitted into existing ones.
The EC22 O uses the electrochemical method (EC) to detect oxygen. The long-life partial pressure sensor measures the oxygen concentrations in a measuring range of 0 to 35 vol % with total accuracy, even in air containing helium. Its accurate measurement is made possible by the automatic temperature compensation and the linearization of the measurement signals. Device protection The housing is protected against the ingress of dust and water (protection class: IP54). An optional weatherproof housing provides additional protection.Communication and service
Signals are transmitted via the analog industrial standard (optionally 0.2-1 mA or 4-20 mA) or the digital RS-485 interface (Modbus protocol). The EC22 O uses two status LEDs to indicate its operating status. The RC22 remote control facilitates service and adjustments on site (one-person adjustment). Test gas for function tests can be inserted using a flow adapter.
