If your application requires combustible gases and vapors to be monitored in Ex zones, the CC28 DA transmitter is a reliable and economical solution. The CC28 DA uses analog signals (4-20 mA) to provide measured values and status information. The values are also displayed directly on the device itself. In the event of an alarm, the CC28 DA's buzzer and red alarm LEDs are triggered to warn anyone in the vicinity. The special stack effect ensures very short response times of only a few seconds for fast warning of explosion hazards. In combination with GfG's reliable controllers, it can be installed in new gas detection systems or retrofitted into existing ones.
The CC28 DA uses catalytic combustion (CC) to detect combustible gases and vapors such as methane, propane and hydrogen. The current measured value is displayed on the 2.2-inch display, which will light up red in the event of an alarm. The long-life sensors make the CC28 DA an economical solution for detecting a wide range of combustible gases in the measuring ranges of 0 to 100 % LEL and 0 to 4 vol % (NH3). Integrated audible and visual alarms will save you the cost of additional explosion-proof alarm devices. Its automatic temperature compensation and the linearization of measuring signals ensure high measuring accuracy.
Functional safety and device protection
The CC28 DA is ATEX certified for use in Ex Zone 1 and its hardware complies with the European Functional Safety Standard DIN EN 61508-2: 2011 (SIL). Its housing is protected against ingress of dust and water (protection class: IP64). An optional weatherproof housing provides additional protection.
