Description

Several guidelines and standards for UV hazard risk assessment exist today. Most often the ACGIH/ICNIRP spectral weighting function for the acutely harmful effects of UV is referenced for irradiance measurements (American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) and the International Commission on Non-Ionising Radiation Protection (ICNIRP). The XD-9506-4 ACGIH detector is designed to meet EM 6 regulations. It’s two sensor design offers best possible isolation between the UV-Aeff and UV-Beff sensors while providing the closest spectral match to the ICNIRP/ACGIH spectral effectiveness function possible. Traceable calibration Calibration of the detector ICNIRP (W/m²) responsivity is performed by the Gigahertz-Optik GmbH calibration laboratory for optical radiation measurements quantities. As with all light detectors supplied by Gigahertz-Optik calibration of absolute detector responsivity as well as detector individual measured relative spectral responsivity data is included.
