The spiral rigid conveyors also referred to as mechanical conveyors are built of a carbon steel or stainless steel (304 or 316) rigid conveyor tube differentiating them from the flexible screw conveyors. The rotary spiral used for loading and unloading the materials like the structural work is composed of carbon steel or stainless steel (304 or 316) based on the type of rigid tube. The rigid tube with flexible spiral flexibly adopts to the material's granular size being conveyed and completely follows the tube geometry in cases of pressed curves. The unit features similar constructive characteristics as that of flexible screws (see technical data for the relative product). The power conveyor is highly suitable for conveying products with high temperatures, conveying chemicals/foods if made of stainless steel.
