General description
Glass Service supplies batch cullet recycling plants for the glass industry. Systems are engineered for different glass types and production needs, including:

Raw material source
Each plant is custom-designed to match customer requirements and local raw material availability. Inputs can be received and handled using multiple transport and packaging methods:

Storage and feeding solutions are adapted to the selected input type and can include silos, storage bays, automated bag dischargers or full pneumatic handling with dust filtration to minimize powder emissions.

Cullet recycling
Glass Service offers integrated cullet processing lines able to treat material from in-line quality testers or from external cullet sources. Typical equipment includes:

• Belt conveyors for cullet transport

• Dosing and weighing systems

Dosing solutions may be cone weighing scales, on-line dosing belts or gravity metric weighers. Equipment can be fitted with anti-wear protection where required.

Control system
The PLC-based control board manages batching from raw material intake to batch furnace silos, integrating control and drive functions. Key features include:

• Raw material load management
• Recipe management with historical recording and analysis
• Graphical plant overview
• Alarm management

HMI options range from a local touch-screen panel for semi-automatic plants to PC/SCADA for full automation. Manual emergency controls are provided for each machine in case of PLC fault.
