The HFC Hard Finishing Cell integrates in-process gear inspection and Closed-Loop corrections, combining hard finishing processes with real-time metrology to optimize production quality and reduce rework.

In-Process Gear Inspection (GRSL)
The integrated GRSL Gear Rolling System uses laser measurement to inspect gears in process at high speed, providing real-time results for profile, lead and pitch. Optional noise analysis evaluates acoustic characteristics when required.

Classic Double Flank Rolling
Laser inspection is complemented by classic double-flank rolling to deliver additional metrology such as runout, average DOP, average tooth thickness and nick detection.

Closed Loop - Quality Optimization
The Closed-Loop functionality transmits measured metrology data directly to the production machine and supports automatic parameter corrections to improve gear quality in subsequent hard finishing operations.

Automated Processing and Integrated Auxiliaries
The single-source HFC enables fully automated processing and offers auxiliary options including bin or cart loading, washing, marking and integrated drawers for NOK (non-conforming) parts.

Platform Configurations
The GRSL platform is available as a stand-alone manual gauge, a semi-automatic gauge or a fully automated gauge for high-volume throughput.
