Product overview The GRESSEL C5X centric clamp is engineered for modern 5-axis CNC machining. Its compact footprint, high clamping force and excellent accessibility make it suitable for 5-axis machines with or without pallet automation. The C5X accepts all GRESSEL 2.0 system jaws, enabling tailored gripping solutions. A large basic clamping stroke and a quick-change spindle system allow fast adjustment of the clamping range.

Compatibility and modularity All GRESSEL 2.0 system jaws are compatible with the C5X centre clamp. The comprehensive C2.0 jaw program and the large jaw construction kit allow customised gripping solutions (reversible jaws, prismatic jaws, etc.). Quick jaw change and a quick-change spindle system simplify reconfiguration.

Mounting and positioning The C5X provides standardised fastening variants for direct machine mounting. Alignment and clamping can be performed using the GRESSEL gredoc zero-point clamping system or SCHUNK VERO-S positioning variants. Additional positioning and fastening holes are available on request. Mounting options include fitting screws, precision sliding blocks, clamping claws and integration into zero-point systems.
