Product OverviewGFOUR is a high-power pulsed magnetron sputtering coating system designed for industrial tooling and component coating applications. The unit integrates four independent magnetron cathodes with high‑power pulsed outputs and a programmable bias system to adapt ionization and film properties across a wide thickness range (0.5–30 µm). The system targets manufacturers of cutting tools, dies and precision industrial parts requiring controlled surface finish, coating density, hardness and adhesion.
Key Benefits- Smooth, droplet‑free surfaces with low friction coefficient suitable for fine finishing.
- High wear resistance through optimized hardness, density and coating–substrate adhesion.
- Low residual stress coatings that preserve cutting edge integrity and reduce cracking/peeling.
- Flexible process control: adjustable ionization rate, pulse parameters and bias allow tuning for thin or thick coatings.
GFOUR Features- Coating thickness range: 0.5–30 µm
- Deposition rate: up to 3 µm/h (process dependent)
- Droplet‑free, low‑friction coatings
- High adhesion between coating and substrate
- High hardness and density with low residual stress
- Process flexibility: ionization rate, discharge pulse, density, stress and thickness adjustable

Technical Feature DisplayCoating microstructure and crystal orientation can be tuned via ionization and pulse control to achieve target density and hardness while maintaining a smooth, droplet‑free surface. The process delivers high hardness and density with low residual stress to protect cutting edges and avoid coating failure.
