OverviewThe CVA 440 L is a chemical vapor aluminizing system designed for turbine blades, engine hot‑section parts and other high‑temperature components exposed to oxidation and corrosion. Based on chemical vapor deposition, it produces a uniform aluminide diffusion layer with controlled thickness, aluminum content and microstructure. The effective working zone is ≥ Φ740 × 1000 mm and the maximum reactor loading is 400 kg, allowing treatment of large components and production batches. The gaseous process medium can access internal cooling channels and film‑cooling holes to protect complex geometries.
Key Benefits- Protection of complex geometries: gaseous process reaches external surfaces, internal cooling passages and film‑cooling holes for uniform coverage.
- Controlled aluminide diffusion layer: process parameters adjust layer thickness, Al content and coating structure to match substrate material and service conditions.
- High‑temperature oxidation resistance: aluminide layer promotes formation of protective Al2O3 scale for hot‑section protection.
- Large working zone and heavy loading: effective zone ≥ Φ740 × 1000 mm and max load 400 kg support large parts and fixtures for series production.
